I represent individuals, banks, and trust companies in disputes involving estates, trusts, powers of attorney, guardianships, and nonprofits. Cases often involve the validity and interpretation of wills and trusts, breaches of fiduciary duty, and trustee removal and surcharge actions. Disagreements over the transfer of personal and family wealth are both sensitive and important, and I take pride in guiding clients through the dispute resolution process, whether in court or through private settlement. I have particular experience with trusts and estates that own specialized assets, such as mineral rights, state-legal cannabis, and digital property. I have trial and appellate experience with commercial disputes in the banking, energy, healthcare, and cannabis industries. I have briefed and argued numerous fiduciary and commercial cases in the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, Superior Court, and Supreme Court, and in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
