Serving as the Learning & Accreditation Manager. ABOUT HOLLY HOLLY SCOTT NICHOLS
I am the Learning and Accreditation Manager in the Strategic Engagement and Development Office at the NASA Safety Center (NSC), part of the Office of Safety and Mission Assurance at NASA Headquarters, based in Cleveland, Ohio. I support NASA’s mission by leading workforce development and accreditation efforts that strengthen technical excellence, mission readiness, and a culture of safety across the Safety and Mission Assurance (SMA) community. With more than a decade of experience in learning and development and program management, I oversee the SMA Technical Excellence Program (STEP), managing a training portfolio focused on modernizing training pathways and supporting both technical and professional growth. I also lead several agencywide initiatives, including NASA’s annual Day of Remembrance safety training for more than civil servants, the SMA Mentoring Program, and IACET accreditation activities. Previously, I served as a Senior Instructional Systems Designer at NSC, where I developed technical training and supported accreditation efforts. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace University and bring experience from both the public and private sectors. I value collaboration and practical, thoughtful learning approaches that help people do their best work in support of NASA’s missions.
