ABOUT HOLLY IND

Passion, Pride & Positivity - I have a huge passion for life and people, I take pride in what I do and how I do it, and I do it all with a positive and professional attitude. Since starting work at the age of 16, I have had a great work ethic and always striven to develop my skills. Starting my journey in the hospitality industry and working in various roles, I not only learnt to provide excellent customer service and resolve guest complaints, but also train people from all backgrounds and got involved in creating new people initiatives.This buzz I got from supporting people made me want to further pursue my career in the Human Resource field, specifically in aim to improve how the function is perceived; by working with colleagues, productively and effectively.I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2017 where I studied Business Studies with a Pathway to Human Resource Management. Shortly after, I was successful in a position within the HR Department at De La Rue, Overton Mill - a manufacturing site in the paper industry. Since then, I have developed my practical skills within the HR profession, had huge involvement with the business becoming Portals Paper and grown my career.I completed my CIPD Level 7 in 2021 and became a qualified Mental Health First Aider in 2022. I aim to further enhance my skills and to continue to pursue my career further within the HR function.
