My passion is education and leading systemic change initiatives through talent pipelines, leadership development, policy and reimagining the future of learning with innovative practices. I partner with education advocates, school leaders and administration, board members, talent recruiters, philanthropists, elected officials, parents and community organizations supporting social justice, economic mobility, racial equity, and education policy to work together to create new opportunities for students and families.As the former Chief of Education for the City of Cleveland, I supported Mayor Bibb\'s vision and strategy to ensure all students in Cleveland have access to high-quality learning experiences that prepare them for a future of their choice. Originally from Ohio, I experienced the injustices of our school systems firsthand with my family and as a school volunteer in Appalachia.
