I’ve developed strong relationships with the media, managed communications during critical incidents, and driven a new road safety communications strategy for the force, focused on the ‘Fatal Five’.Other highlights of my role have included creating reconstructions, appeals, and spotlighting the dedicated teams bringing criminals to justice for Crimewatch Live; handling high-pressure incidents under intense media scrutiny; and keeping the public informed as on-call press officer.
