Among other tasks, this position will assist Project Managers with the processes associated with each project including but not limited to original contracts, bonds, change orders, subcontracts, payment applications, budgetary analysis, and ad hoc reports. Ultimate allegiance of the position is to the Accounting Department and Management. The Contract Manager acts as an extra set of eyes with respect to upstream billings and downstream requests for payment. This role works in a fast-paced, multi-company environment and will foster and promote cooperation to stay ahead of deadlines. Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Assist in job set up, create electronic job folders, organize project cost codes, and reproduce construction plans all as necessary for the efficient flow of long term construction projects- Maintain, monitor, and organize project records and documentation- Coordinate and track submittals, change orders, schedules, and the distribution of updated construction documents to subcontractors and suppliers- Report accurate certified payrolls for our own employees and guide subcontractors to produce the same- Support the project management team in working with government authorities on obtaining all necessary project permits, licenses, variances, and other land development processes- Engage professionally with subcontractor and supplier contacts on bid solicitations and other project requirements to ensure strong lasting relationships- Ensure the proper calculation and approval for all disbursements with respect to assigned projects- Perform myriad additional project tasks as required by Management for the benefit of the Team and Company- Maintain a high degree of trust, confidentiality, and integrity
