March 2015: Volunteered at the Big Bang Science Fair at the National Exhibition Centre on the Institution of Civil Engineers Stall. I ran a small table of up to 10 children explaining the use of computer modelling in civil engineering- September 2015: Gave a presentation at my school to encourage girls to study engineering at university. The school had never had an alumnus return to talk about their experiences in engineering; they felt this would be relatable to the pupils- February 2016: Presented at the university’s ‘Grab-a-Graduate’ event to accentuate the benefits of completing work placements to younger students in the department.
