We have a response in our brain which is there to protect us and keep us safe, ensuring our survival every day. However, when overloaded it can cause unwanted/unnecessary symptoms such as, low mood and motivation, IBS, headaches, panic attacks, and insomnia to name but a few. Long periods of accumulated stress can lead to anxiety and depression. All of which are avoidable.
