About Holly Ormseth

At Whisper, we are developing a learning hearing aid that uses machine learning to get better over time. At Uber my primary contribution was building Uber\'s first loyalty program, Uber Rewards. I pitched the product, developed and launched it in the U.S, and further scaled it to 6 international markets. During this process, I led a cross functional team, which scaled from 8 to 40+ people. Prior to the loyalty program, I built a stored value product, the re-loadable Uber Wallet, that allowed users to upload money to Uber and spend down from that balance. I also worked closely with the BD team on a number of partner integrations, such as the Spotify and Pandora music integrations which gave drivers ad-free music to listen to and riders the ability to control the music in their Ubers. Previously I spent 3 years at Facebook where I worked on the Media team, focusing on Live Video, Music Sharing, and News. I also worked at Instagram shortly after its acquisition to Facebook, doing growth.Prior to Facebook, I worked at a startup, Aquicore, developing energy management solutions for small to medium sized businesses. I graduated with honors from Georgetown University where I studied Finance and Computer Science.
