ABOUT HOLLY KNAPP
I’m a final‑year Psychology student at Loughborough University, motivated to pursue a career as a forensic psychologist.I gained experience across various healthcare settings working with brain injury patients, supporting in A&E, and in my role as an honorary assitant psychologist in NHS CAMHS working with children in care and young offenders. These experiences have strengthened my adaptability, deepened my commitment to trauma‑informed care, and shown me the importance of evidence‑based practice in complex environments.My research interests focus on developmental trauma and how it can be differentiated from neurodiversity, the impact of adverse childhood experiences on offending behaviour and how individual differences in education, parenting, and teacher interactions can impact offending behaviour.
