ABOUT HOLLY ELMORE
With 21 years of varied experience, my leadership style includes passion and a big picture view. Educating young minds to appreciate the complexity of life through my high school biology course gave me time to implement and refine instructional strategies over a nine year period. I have been an instructional building leader at every level, Pre-K through 12th grades. I have served as an instructional coach and assistant principal. My passion didn’t allow me to stop within the four walls where I reported daily. I have been a state leader through Student Achievement Partners Common Core Advocacy, a Hope Street Group Kentucky State Teacher Alumnus, and in 2014, I presented at the National ASCD CTE Conference in Nashville, Tn with the Literacy Design Collaborative. For this year, I have been selected to the KASA Kentucky Women in Educational Leadership cohort. My dream is to lead a forward-thinking, innovative building where all students are given the opportunity to work towards their dreams. Until then, I’ll keep striving.
