ABOUT HOLLY DODDS

Holly is an experienced Project Manager and Technical Expert supporting complex multi-disciplinary projects across Canada. Her specialty is environmental permitting and her understanding of the regulatory environment (Municipal, Regional, Provincial, and Federal) on a wide array of projects contributes to the effective identification of project requirements, the timely execution of fieldwork, technically sound and detailed reports and applications. Holly works closely with regulators at different levels of government and has chaired steering committees, stakeholder advisory committees, and working groups for multi-partner lead projects to achieve cohesive vision and approach to promote project outcomes. Specialties- Experience leading and contributing to a variety of environmental components of the Individual Environmental Assessment (federal IAA (previously CEAA) and provincial EA), Class Environmental Assessment processes (e.g, Transmission, Municipal, Public Work, Waterpower), TPAP, EIS, EEs and larger transportation projects- Experience undertaking environmental assessments in multiple sectors: Mining, Oil and Gas, Linear Infrastructure, Government, Nuclear, Residential and Commercial Development- Senior technical support on applications under EPEA (C&R, EPP), development of Wildlife and Caribou Mitigation and Monitoring Plans, implementation of plans and long-term ecological monitoring in support of authorization conditions- Species at Risk screening, presence/no detection surveys, general/critical habitat identification, ESA/SARA permitting and registrations (regulatory exemptions), mitigation of impacts, and habitat rehabilitation/compensation/design/offsetting (including overall benefit permits)- Experienced Woodland Caribou lead, animal detection by sign, classification, recruitment, and population estimates across a number of Canadian Ranges- Coordination of complex, multi-disciplinary, large-scale projects in remote locations- Wildlife passage design and improvements to habitat permeability, contributed to design and build of over 50 wildlife passage features on a variety of projects- Design, develop, lead, and execute ecological monitoring and management programs for a variety of taxa using science-based decision making- Habitat restoration/rehabilitation for wildlife- Designated Butternut Health Assessor (OMNRF)- Development of Environmental Management Plans for terrestrial wildlife/vegetation.
