ABOUT HOLLY BATTRUM
As a Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, I am energetic and detail-driven. Seeing the results from treating patients with Traditional Chinese Medicine and listening to my patients’ stories is what drives me to continue to learn and grow as a practitioner. Sharing this medicine is truly what I am passionate about. I am nationally certified with the NCCAOM, as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and as a licensed Acupuncturist in Missouri and Minnesota In my current practice, my belief is “that which hinders movement hinders life. Grace, flow, and ease of movement are vital.” When someone does not feel “healthy” then how can they have the effect on society that they would like? My goal is to positively affect my community with Traditional Chinese Medicine so in turn my patients can live their lives with grace, flow and ease. After healing others from the outside in for seven years through theatre costume design and team leadership. I took a leap in life to commit myself to combine my love for art and science to help patients heal through Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is a medicine that has helped me immensely in my own life. Now, years later, I am a Northwestern Health Sciences University honors graduate, with a Masters of Oriental Medicine, and a Doctoral Graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. I continue to fuel my dreams by joining Elements Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to improve patients’ quality of life. My “life list” is long and I love to travel. When I am not with patients or giving lectures, I am connecting with friends, learning the Cajon, practicing yoga, learning Swedish, salsa dancing, designing dresses and sailing. It is important for me to bring my best self to my patients and colleagues on a daily bases, therefore everything I do comes from that intention.
