About Holly Amos

As the Managing Editor at the Poetry Foundation, I have over a decade of experience curating print and digital content for the leading organization dedicated to poetry in the US and beyond. I hold an MFA in Poetry from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University. My own poems and humor writing have been published with the Academy of American Poets, Poetry Review, Bennington Review, McSweeney\'s, and more.My strengths include curating and editing print and digital content, serving as a hinge between the editorial and web teams including during our website redesign, and putting user experience and accessibility first. New initiatives that I\'ve spearheaded include a popular new essay series on form called Not Too Hard to Master; a new, short-form and bespoke audio series titled Wake, Butterfly; as well as the acquisition of audio recordings for nearly every new poem published in POETRY to provide readers with another avenue to experience the magazine and further enhance its accessibility.
