ABOUT RICK SAWYER

Rick grew up in Brentwood and Pacific Palisades entering surfing and skateboarding competitions in his early teens. He heard Bruce Brown narrate surf films live at school auditoriums and developed into a true waterman.Rick\'s 38 year ranch real estate experience began at Hollister Ranch, where he has a long history in the community. As a teenager in the 1960s, he had access before it became a subdivision. In the 1970s, he lived in the bunkhouse and worked as a cowboy on the first cattle operations, helping the original HR broker show properties to buyers on horseback.Rick and his wife Kathy eventually purchased their own parcel, where they raised their family and have been actively involved in the Owners Association. With over 45 years of experience in the industry, Rick has helped numerous clients buy and sell properties in the Ranch and surrounding areas. He has owned 6 different HR parcels and lived on the HR for over 20 years.Prior to his real estate career, Rick attended Midland School in Santa Barbara County and later went on to study at UC Santa Barbara and Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, CO.
