As a seasoned events professional with extensive MICE experience across corporate, government, and non-profit sectors, plus a keen interest in technology, I bring a strategic approach to events (Live, Virtual, and Hybrid) that delivers value and exceeds expectations.The dynamics of conferences and events enable me to do what I really enjoy; building collaborations and strategizing with internal and external clients and stakeholders in an international environment to solve challenges while working towards shared goals and hard deadlines.Known for over-delivering, I bring a solid track record of organizing large and complex international conferences. I do this by observing trends, developing new concepts, and producing creative solutions, often within limited budgets, for events and conferences that are a success for participants, sponsors and the organisation.This cannot be done alone. I enjoy working with people from different backgrounds and cultures and I have extensive experience in project managing, building, mentoring, and motivating diverse cross-function high performance teams (in-house & external) as well as finding the right partners for events.My key strengths lie in my can-do attitude and unconventional approach to challenges plus my broad knowledge of the field which enables me to find the best solutions. I know the right questions to ask, I can figure out underlying issues, question the status quo and stay calm in almost every situation – critical in event management!I am most proud of having built great relationships and a solid international network I can rely on. Throughout my career I have played a significant role in growing businesses, increasing product/service quality and the number of loyal clients, developing brands, and implementing long term planning for conferences. I was also a Speaker and Session Leader at Associations World Congress 2019 in Gothenburg.During and now after the pandemic, my experience with and understanding of technology in general and events technology in particular helped me to advise and support clients to successfully move parts or all of their conference and exhibition to a virtual environment. When there are many solutions available, I know from experience that it can be hard to figure out which one is best for each situation.It is not about ‘just organizing an event’, it is about creating experiences!
