Hoja Lopez is a Venezuelan comedian, producer, and writer based in Chicago, Illinois. She’s the creator and host of Gay News, a monthly satirical web series focusing on queer stories. Hoja is also a podcast producer and served as a producer on Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, which was named Apple Podcasts’ Show of the Year for 2023.She performs and teaches at The Annoyance Theater and has worked on a range of creative projects, including award-winning web series, TV, live shows, and podcasts.
