The role as WBT Engineer includes new tyre developments and in-service activities- Certification of Bridgestone and Michelin, New & Retread tyres using V&V System Development Process for and A380; analysing Means of Compliance and Verification evidence provided by tyre vendors before completing tyre certification alongside Airworthiness in accordance to EASA Part 21 and FAA TSO-C62 & AC 145-4A Regulations- Management of Vendors/Suppliers (alongside Procurement) to ensure Wheel, Brake and Tyre Vendors demonstrate compliance to Airbus Requirements and requests, whilst preventing disruption to the Airbus Final Assembly Line and ensuring Airlines have correct paperwork to install certified tyres- Completion of Technical Design & Capability Audits on Tyre suppliers to ensure the Suppliers\' Design Processes in Engineering are compliant and robust, and providing recommendation plans if improvements are required.
