I am an experienced Biochemist and Molecular Biologist who loves problem solving at the intersection of different disciplines. I build empowered teams, in pursuit of both technical excellence and pragmatism. I\'m equally comfortable working on experimental technical detail or high-level strategyFor more than 10 years, as Staff Scientist at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, I studied the mechanisms and regulation of DNA repair - applying varied tools such as protein engineering, chemical synthesis and gene editing in various model systems. Highlights of my research include lead author publications in Molecular Cell, Science and Nature - building enduring collaborations in the process.I value curiosity, creativity and collaboration.
