About Hodari Davis
I am a founding partner in Edutainment for Equity, the Artistic Director of E4E Arts and a doctoral student in the School of Education at the University of California at Davis. I am the former Program Director of Youth Speaks. For 12 years I served as the Executive Producer of the Brave New Voices Festival. I am also a founder of the Life is Living Festival and Campaign and have worked as a Creative Director and Consultant for The Bigger Picture Campaign for ten years. I have been a teacher and educator, artist and activist, community organizer and artistic director, father and coach for over 30 years. I develop projects and campaigns that focus on elevating the voices of Young People, and African people worldwide, actively engaging them in explorations of the past and the future. This work has lead me to become a Faculty member and fellow at the Institute For the Future. Through poetry, art, theater, conferences, workshops, festivals, film, and other productions large and small, I work collaboratively with others to contribute to the transformation of the world.
