ABOUT HODA SHAHEEN

Bachelor, Masters, and Ph.D. Degree in Architectural Engineering. With more than 8 years of practical experience in designing residential and commercial low and mid-rise buildings at A2G2 Architects. Participated in all phases of design from conceptual till technical drawing using AutoCAD for both architecture, interior and landscape design. I have recently worked in interior design/ Furniture selection for Paddle center in Oakville. I have participated in national Urban project for upgrading Egyptian villages, and in the Egyptian building energy code project At HBRC (Housing and Building Research Center) More than 10 years of experience in Teaching different courses for undergraduate and graduate students like Freehand Sketching for Architects, Foundation of 3D Modelling, Visual Studies, Furniture Design, Interior Design, History of Ancient Architecture History of Islamic Architecture and Architectural Design Studio at (AUC) the American university in Cairo (UIA Accredited Program) and AAST (Arab academy for science, Technology and Maritime Transport (RIBA Accredited Program)I have also teaching expereience at Canada collages, Teaching interior design studio and interior detailing at Fanshawe collage. Teaching sketching and manual representations at Humber collage, and Interior decoration anf CAD course at Conestoga elearning. teaching art classes at Art gallery of Burlington AGBI have also finished IPLAN program in Ontario which include passing three Bridging courses at Toronto Metropolitan University; REVIT, Ontario Building Code part 3,9, Materials and Methods course). I was able to finish 3 projects using knowledge learnt in Materials and Methods and OBC course and was presented using Revit softwareI have finished George Brown Collage( Building Officials Fundamental Course which include Studying Building Envelope, House and safety, Building science and Plan examination as a preparation for BCIN examinations. I am volunterring at AGB and Toronto biennial of Art I am good learner and I have great Passion for Art, Architecture, Interior Design, Teaching, Research, Sketching, Painting, calligraphy, and photography.
