As General Counsel at the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA), which operates and manages Pittsburgh International Airport and Allegheny County Airport, I lead the inhouse legal team and handle matters spanning commercial transactions, construction, regulatory compliance, labor and employment, and civil litigation. My work is not only focused on mitigating risk but is also rooted in a desire to shape the legal and policy framework that enables a major transportation hub to function efficiently and with integrity. In my view, effective leadership as a legal executive requires the ability to navigate complexity, identify opportunity, and balance risk with operational objectives. Prior to joining the ACAA, I worked for U.S. Senator Frank Lautenberg on Capitol Hill and in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in Harrisburg before spending eight years in private practice in Pittsburgh.
