About Hunter Houston

Working as a software engineer with a specific focus on green technology and electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. I studied Computer Science at SMU in Dallas, which propelled me to the tech-centric city of San Francisco to start my careerAt Rivian, I was immersed in the world of EV charging. I owned the EV charging graph that supported our RivianOS portal for Fleet customers and worked alongside energy experts to build out the software architecture that supported the launch of our L2 “Waypoint” and “RAN” DC fast charging networksNow at EVgo, I have the privilege of leading a team and guiding our efforts to redefine the boundaries of cloud management solutions for EV chargers. Our mission is clear: optimize charger uptime, enhance user-friendliness, and deliver an unparalleled experience for both Fleet and Retail customers.Outside of the tech world, I enjoy fishing, golf, college football, and video games. I also have a growing interest in vertical farming, battery tech, electric boats and eVTOL (and anything else related to innovation)
