After enhancing my understanding of hospital workflows and my skills in the implementation of an Electronic Medical Record, I have the opportunity to go beyond the boundaries of hospitals and dive into the challenges of our societies: how can the population\'s health be better managed?Digital innovation can help by building bridges and offer some guidance tools whether through better integrated systems thanks to integration engines, or Electronic Health Records to create a link between all stakeholders, or with clinical and performance analysis tools.When I worked in this area in the early technology still had to be improved and stakeholders still had to accept the need to slowly switch towards a coordination based approach.Let us hope that both have moved in the right direction.
