ABOUT H. LEVENT KOÇALIOĞLU

I work with architects/engineers to design, model, and optimize the energy performance and environmental impact of their buildings. I have over eight years of experience in the field of building physics and sustainability, with credentials such as Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA), and Certified Energy Manager (CEM).My core competencies include parametric modeling, design for performance, climate-based daylighting analysis, thermal comfort analysis, planning and building regulations, and net zero carbon projects. I use software tools including EnergyPlus, IES VE, and DesignBuilder to perform code compliant and performance-based energy modeling, as well as life-cycle cost analysis and energy efficiency measures optimization. I also participate in energy audits, reporting, and feasibility studies for existing buildings.My goal is to help designers/engineers achieve their sustainability goals and create healthy, comfortable, and resilient built environment.
