Program Coordinator and operations support for a non-profit science center that inspires a passion for lifelong exploration of science. Through our programs and our interactive science center we work to cultivate a sense of inquiry, discovery, wonder, and understanding of the scientific foundations of everyday life. • Director of adult science and technology programs including Science Tuesday lecture series, Rockville Science Café lecture series, Numberphiles math club, Exploration Field Trips, Amateur Radio Hangout, Young Adult Science Café, and special programs. • Plan and put on Rockville Science Day at Montgomery College. This STEM festival has over 100 science exhibitors and attracts over visitors. It is one of Rockville’s largest STEM events. • Director of Explorations! Field Trip series offering outing to places of scientific and technological interest in the greater Washington, DC Metro area. • Run STEM exhibits and programs offsite at local community events and festivals. • Provide front and back-office support, including reception, facility, and IT support.• Past duties included maintaining corporate website, editing the monthly newsletter, and updating social media.
