About Hiya Gurbani
I am a final-year computer science student with a strong interest in backend development and building reliable, scalable software systems.I am currently working as a Software Engineering Trainee, where I am gaining hands-on exposure to backend development, understanding real-world codebases, and learning how software is built and maintained in an industry environment.I was a National Finalist at Smart India Hackathon 2024, where I worked on solving real-world problem statements with a focus on practical implementation and impact. Alongside technical work, I have taken up leadership and community roles such as Unstop Student Director and GSSoC Campus Ambassador, which helped me develop communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.My technical interests lie in backend development, core programming concepts, databases, and problem-solving. I enjoy learning through hands-on work and continuously improving my understanding of how backend systems function in production.I am always open to connecting with professionals, learning from experienced engineers, and growing as a software engineer through meaningful challenges.
