I’m a third-year B.Sc.(Honours) student in Economics with a specialization in Finance at Trent University, currently fast-tracking my degree while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Awarded the full-ride Global Citizen Award, I bring strong analytical thinking and a global outlook to my academic and professional pursuits. My passion for financial strategy and economic analysis is grounded in practical experience. As a Finance Intern at Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes, I contributed to monthly financial reporting, account reconciliation, and budgeting across departments. I collaborated with internal teams to streamline data organization and improve accuracy in financial records—gaining hands-on experience in variance analysis, financial reporting, and budgeting tools such as Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, scenario analysis). In student leadership, I’ve served as Vice President of Finance for ENACTUS, managing a annual budget and implementing new financial tracking systems to improve efficiency by 30%. As Treasurer for Active Minds, I handled expense tracking and fund allocation for over 10 events annually, ensuring responsible financial oversight and transparent reporting. I’m currently preparing for the CFA Level I exam, expanding my capabilities in financial modeling, capital budgeting, investment research, and market analysis.
