About Hitesh Patil

I’m a passionate and hands-on BTech Mechanical Engineering student from PES Modern College of Engineering, Pune, currently focused on building a career in the automobile and electric vehicle (EV) industry.I’m a core team member of the Pegasus Club, where we’re building a student Formula-1 Vehicle. I’m actively working on the powertrain, transmission, and chassis/body framework subsystems, applying practical knowledge of SolidWorks, automotive design, GD & T, and manufacturing processes. This hands-on experience is sharpening my understanding of vehicle dynamics, system integration, and team-based engineering skills critical to roles in automotive R&D, EV design, and motorsport engineering.I also interned at an Parivartan Innovations EV care center, gaining experience with electric scooters, diagnostics, and basic EV maintenance. This exposure strengthened my interest in smart mobility and sustainable transport.My mechanical foundation is complemented by my background in robotics, IoT, and embedded systems, developed through personal projects and work in the college IoT lab. I completed my diploma final year project on a mechanical floor-cleaning machine and worked with Imaginitix software for 3D design. These cross-disciplinary skills also align with my interest in interning at DRDO.
