Client : American Express Location : Phoenix, AZ Role : Application Architect Duration : March 2015 – Present Worked on Migration of many Applications from Websphere 6.1 and 7 to JBOSS RA 6. Analyzing the required existing application in Websphere and suggesting infrastructure related changes for new JBOSS environment. Design and implement new JBOSS environment from test to Productions. Deployed EAR and WAR on JBOSS servers, manually through console and through automatic tool LARA. Resolved many deployment related issues coming in Dev and Test environment. Helped application team to resolve Migration, testing environment and application related issues. Configured JBOSS JVM for optimum performance and Configured JBOSS Database Created new environment for Development and testing from the scratch in Websphere 6.1. Worked on cloning the existing complex, testing environment with end to end connectivity, having many different applications connectivity. Installed EARs, WARs and configured application specific JVM settings, Web container parameters using Admin Consoles. Created Certificate Signing Request with keytool to get signed certificates from CA. Installed and Configured SSL certificates on both JBOSS and WAS servers. Worked with Firewall and Network team to configure Load balancer. Configured Datasources in JBOSS and WAS. Installed and configured Apache Tomcat for few test applications. Worked on designing and implementing High availability environment for WAS and JBOSS App servers. Created Shell Scripts for log rotation, achieving logs, automation of server restart.
