ABOUT HISHAN PARRY

I engineer embedded software solutions that must work first time, every time in harsh, highly constrained environments. My experience spans bare-metal systems, RTOS architectures, DSP, motor control, and seamless integration with custom electronics for subsea robotics and manipulators.I take ownership of complex embedded projects end-to-end, designing, implementing, and optimising robust, MISRA-compliant C/C++ code, integrating with bespoke PCBs, and ensuring reliability through CI/CD workflows. I work closely with electronics, mechanical, and systems engineers, translating cross-disciplinary requirements into effective, deployable solutions for mission-critical operations.I am actively working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status and completing a part-time MBA at Imperial College London to expand my leadership, strategy, and innovation capabilities. This combination of deep technical expertise and strategic perspective allows me to bridge the gap between engineering execution and product objectives.Alongside embedded development, I bring strengths in Lean Six Sigma process optimisation, AI/ML research (published at MLCAD), and full-stack prototyping, enabling rapid, informed decision-making from concept through deployment.I thrive on turning complex constraints into practical, reliable, and elegant engineering solutions that stand up to the most demanding real-world conditions.
