ABOUT HISHAM IDRISS
I currently serve as an R&D Project Manager, focusing on the development of nanosolutions specifically tailored for printed electronics. In this role, I oversee various projects related to the market for conductive and semi-conductive inks used in printed electronics applications. My responsibilities include managing the entire project lifecycle, from initial research and development to product testing and commercialization. I work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance our offerings, ensuring that we meet industry standards and customer needs. By leveraging cutting-edge nanotechnology, I aim to advance the capabilities of printed electronics and contribute to the growth of this dynamic field.Three years of postdoctoral study were devoted mostly to conjugated surfactant synthesis and characterisation with the purpose of investigating their proto-opto-electronic properties. My PhD is in organic and polymer chemistry. I developed conjugated molecules, oligomers, polymers, and solar cell devices as part of my study. During my research I concentrated on the synthesis and characterisation of conjugated diblock copolymers for application as photoactive layers in organic photovoltaics.I have a duration of experience that has been growing steadily, and I have a solid background in nanotechnology and polymer synthesis. My experience has given me a thorough understanding of material properties and how they are used, especially in the development of novel products. I am a motivated and independent professional that works well in collaborative environments, engaging with colleagues from other fields to accomplish shared objectives.I can solve problems and lead fruitful conversations since I have good communication and problem-solving skills. I take great satisfaction in keeping an optimistic mindset and being open-minded, which promotes innovative problem-solving and a positive team environment. In addition, I make a regular effort to sustain a high degree of desire and motivation, which helps me stay goal-focused.
