About Hirsh Kabaria
Hello! I\'m Hirsh Kabaria, a graduate student in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan. I’m actively seeking full-time opportunities in spacecraft systems or composite materials starting in Summer 2025. Over the summer, I interned at Planet Labs as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer, where I integrated, tested, and validated smallsats that push the boundaries of Earth observation. Before that, I worked at AeroVironment, conducting trade studies on materials selection and developing performance tools for next-gen ISR platforms. I’ve also contributed to multiple university projects, ranging from CubeSat integration to building record-breaking liquid rockets. In addition to my engineering experience, I’ve demonstrated leadership in managing large, interdisciplinary teams, securing funding for aerospace projects, and mentoring students in writing through teaching roles. In my spare time, I cover Michigan Athletics and campus life as a photographer for the Michigan Yearbook. I have experience with- Spacecraft Systems Engineering and Testing - Project Management and Team Leadership - Composite Design and Fabrication - CAD in Solidworks and NX - MATLAB, C/C++, and Python Programming I\'d love to join your company and work on the next generation of spacecraft!
