About Hiren Rupavatiya
Process Engineer having ~10 years of experience in Refinery & Petrochemical complex. Currently associated with Shell as Tech Specialist - Process Engineering and supporting Shell Deer Park Chemicals Process Engineering Projects team to execute various MOCs and Projects in field. Previous experience in LUMMUS Butadiene Extraction Technology and UOP Parex, Xylene Isomarization, C7A-C9A Transalkylation, BTX separation and ED Sulfolane technology of Aromatics complex at RIL Jamnagar refinery as a Process Engineer in Technical Services. Involved in commissioning of Depentanizer column (part of RIL Jamnagar gasoline upgradation project) and Toluene column (part of Platformer 100 KBPSD Revamp project) and turnaround activities of Aromatics complex. Having hands on experience of process simulations softwares (KBC Petro-SIM, UniSim), Process hydraulics (Korf, AFT Fathom), Control valve sizing (Fisher), Unit monitoring and troubleshooting, Process optimization and Catalyst performance monitoring.
