With an experience of over 9 years in the field of Piping Stress Analysis, I have worked over various projects in the Oil & Gas and Chemicals sectors.I’m proficient with software like CAESAR-II with all versions along with Nozzle Pro, AutoPipe, and 3-D Piping Review softwares like Navisworks and Smart Plant Review.I have performed stress analysis of major equipments such as pumps, column, drums, scrubbers, reactors, PSV analysis, heat exchangers, air fin coolers and tanks. I’m also familiar with code and standards such as ASME B 31.3, API 610, API 662 and API 650. I also have knowledge and exposure to MTO, isometric checking, GA, pipeline alignment drawings, support register and automation of work.At Burns & McDonnell India, I lead a team of 5 people, and my daily responsibilities include reviewing vendor drawings, isometrics, Q4 plans, 3D models and project center. One of the most technical parts involves dealing with stress analysis of critical elements and lines connected to it.Burns & McDonnell India is a full-service engineering company with multidisciplinary capabilities across the oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, transmission and distribution, energy/power, environmental services, and food and consumer product sectors.
