The unique combination of my administrative, teaching, research and clinical experience has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of academic rehabilitation settings. In my role as the Interim Director of Office of Research and Sponsored projects, I have helped create many clinical research processes and built the university’s research infrastructure from ground up. I also founded the MS PT & Wellness Center, MS telewellness, and COVID-rehabilitation programs and practice as a neuro certified specialist with focus on Multiple Sclerosis, Aging, Vestibular and Pelvic rehabilitation. My research focus is to develop and improve rehabilitation and wellness strategies for individuals with chronic neurodegenerative conditions, especially individuals with Multiple Sclerosis. My clinical work details on neurodegenerative rehabilitation services, Multiple Sclerosis rehabilitation, Vestibular rehabilitation, Balance and fall risk prevention and rehabilitation, Pelvic rehabilitation, Antenatal and postpartum programs, post-COVID-19 programs, and exercise for elderly. My teaching goal is to create a student environment conducive to self-motivated learning throughout the curriculum.
