Low Voltage Campaign Prevent Engineer @Ford Motor Company

Schedule awareness sessions with electrical engineering teams to track Campaign Prevent plans and build milestone deliverables • Lead Virtual Deep Dive Reviews on all global vehicle programs to validate low voltage/ high current electrical wiring and component designs in 3D CAD, verify 2D prints, ensure technical specifications, EDS design rules and requirements are met • Evaluate strategies for electrical harnesses routing underbody & upper body of the vehicle including infotainment systems, seat wirings, and sensor modules integration while maintaining safety standards • Visit on-site for Campaign Prevent physical reviews on pre- & post-durability vehicles to capture evidence of component failures, classify and report issues binning strategies to the core launch authorities as design, manufacturing, or supplier-quality issues • Meet with engineering teams at FSA events for mapping re-work strategies and corrective actions to resolve campaign issues • Liaison with SMEs and Engineers to review customer feedbacks, stop-ship reports, root cause analysis, issues severity investigations, and PRA reports • Support cross-functional engineers and suppliers to analyse electrical design prototypes, detect early component failures, foresee emerging quality issues, recommend resolutions, and signoff deviations • Train engineers to design prototypes based on lessons learned from quality assessments and warranty data to prevent risk of FSA • Coordinate TVM assignments with program managers, engineers, and suppliers to reduce cost overruns by identifying cost saving strategies, improve manufacturing processes and reduce redundant materials on electrical wirings • Develop Campaign Prevent plans for product lifecycle to EOL and maintain quality reports for all global vehicles • Lead weekly global team touch-point meeting to distribute virtual review reports, manage resources, assign tasks to CAD engineers, discuss KPI, and initiate plans to meet overall business objectives
