CPA (Canada) and CA (India), having over 13 years of post-graduate and over 10 years of post-professional qualification experience in Accountancy - Bookkeeping, Audit and Assurance as well as in Taxation services with Manufacturing, Trading and Service Industries.My professional journey began in 2010 when I joined a Chartered Accountant firm as an Article Assistant, fulfilling the mandatory requirement of the ICAI to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). I gained my CA designation in August 2014, after which I was promoted to Audit Assistant. In this role, I gained experience across all audit types—statutory, internal, and tax—working with clients in various sectors. Shortly thereafter, in 2015, I advanced to an Audit Executive role, where I had the opportunity to finalize and prepare full financial statements for a publicly listed company on the NSE. Working with CA firms taught me skills, such as managing different personalities, handling high-pressure environments, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills, continuous learning, teamwork, and customer service.Then, I took on a new role as an Assistant Manager at Amophil Chemicals Private Ltd, a startup chemical manufacturing company. Here, I implemented product costing for two distinct products, identifying batch-wise material costs per UOM and comparing them against benchmarks set by the company’s lab. Being part of a startup placed me at the forefront of cash flow forecasting.They say,\"the only constant in life is change,\" and in 2018, I decided to pursue new dreams by moving to a new country. In 2019, after receiving my Canadian PR, I migrated to Winnipeg. I began with an AP Associate role at the Boyd Group - a valuable opportunity I am still grateful for in a new country where I had to start from Zero.To continue with my dreams, I passed the CPA CFE in August 2021 and relocated to Calgary. This new chapter allowed me to take on a new role as an Accounting Manager at Process Color Print Ltd, where I developed automated reports in Excel to aid management. This opportunity presented challenges such as reducing invoicing time and again managing cashflow for the company.My next role was at Century Services Corp, an auction and appraisal company, as a Controller.Currently, I am a Finance Leader at Amplify Advisors. We provide Finance Leaders, Consulting, Recruiting & Amplify Tech services.
