Ensure Revenue Accuracy:Oversee correct application of pricing, discounting, and contract terms.Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards.Monitor Billing Systems:Validate accuracy of billing data from usage or subscription platforms.Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to align product usage with billing logic.Prevent Revenue Leakage:Identify gaps in billing, missed upsells, or underutilized entitlements.Analyze customer lifecycle for missed monetization opportunities.Data Reconciliation:Reconcile data between CRM (like Salesforce), billing (like Zuora), and accounting systems (like NetSuite).Revenue Reporting:Provide timely and accurate revenue reports for finance and leadership.Credit Control Responsibilities:Customer Credit Assessment:Evaluate creditworthiness of new customers.Set credit limits and payment terms based on risk profiles.Collections Management:Monitor receivables and proactively follow up on overdue invoices.Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success to manage at-risk accounts.Dispute Resolution:Resolve billing disputes quickly to avoid bad debt.Implement controls to reduce recurring billing issues.Cash Flow Forecasting:Work with Finance to project cash inflows and manage DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).Policy Development:Define credit and collection policies aligned with business risk appetite.
