Ammonia Plant-An ammonia plant produces ammonia by combining hydrogen and nitrogen under high pressure (200-300 atm) and temperature (400- 500°C) using an iron catalyst. Ammonia is crucial for fertilizers and various industrial applications. It\'s stored under pressure or transported as a liquid for distribution.Urea Plant-A urea plant converts ammonia and carbon dioxide into urea under high pressure (150-200 atm) and temperature (150-250°C). Urea is a key nitrogen fertilizer, produced as solid granules or prills, and is essential for enhancing crop yield in agriculture.Nitric Acid Plant:A nitric acid plant manufactures nitric acid, used extensively in fertilizers, explosives, and various industrial chemicals. The process begins by oxidizing ammonia to nitric oxide using a platinum or rhodium catalyst. Nitric oxide is then further oxidized to nitrogen dioxide, which dissolves in water to form nitric acid. The acid is concentrated and purified before being used in industrial applications.Steam Generation Plant:A steam generation plant produces steam used in industrial processes and power generation. Water is heated in boilers using fuels such as natural gas, coal, or oil, or through nuclear reactions or renewable sources like biomass. The heated water produces high-pressure steam, which drives turbines for electricity generation or provides process heat in industries such as chemical manufacturing and refineries.
