As an In charge in Inventory Control & Outward Operations at Flipkart (5 lac sq ft), play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient management of inventory and outward logistics operations. responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, optimizing storage space, and coordinating outbound shipments to meet customer demands.Responsibilities:Manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses to ensure sufficient stock availability.Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to forecast inventory needs and plan replenishment strategies.Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, monitor inventory levels, and generate reports for analysis.Implement best practices for inventory management, including cycle counting, ABC analysis, and FIFO/LIFO principles.Oversee outbound logistics operations, including order picking, packing, and dispatching.Collaborate with transportation partners to optimize delivery schedules and reduce transit times.Monitor outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with quality standards.Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization within the inventory control and outward operations function.Lead a team of inventory control specialists and outbound operations staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
