As the Savishkar Convenor of ABVP Raipur Mahanagar for the past two years, I have led initiatives to promote innovation, research, and entrepreneurship among students across Raipur. My core responsibilities included planning and executing the annual Savishkar Innovation Festival, mentoring campus convenors, coordinating with colleges and experts, managing logistics, budgeting, and ensuring smooth execution from the institute level to the Mahanagar-level exhibitions. I focused on building an ecosystem that encouraged students to develop innovative projects and transform ideas into prototypes through mentorship and incubation support.During my tenure, I successfully organized two major editions of Savishkar (2023 and 2024) with record participation of 600+ students from 15+ colleges, the highest ever for Raipur. I introduced digital systems such as online registration, centralized evaluation, and the Savishkar Portal – Raipur to streamline coordination and documentation. A key highlight was launching the Innovate Raipur Exhibition, which showcased 20+ early-stage student startups and technical projects, several of which progressed to state and zonal levels.I facilitated collaborations with CSVTU Bhilai Incubation Center and HKM Innovation Cell, enabling three student teams to receive mentorship and prototype funding. The 2024 edition featured an Eco-Innovation Track focused on sustainability, biodegradable materials, and renewable energy, promoting the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.Through innovation awareness drives in 10+ colleges and by training 50+ campus convenors, I helped strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurship network across Raipur. My leadership enhanced participation, institutional partnerships, and visibility of Savishkar, establishing Raipur Mahanagar as a model region in Chhattisgarh for promoting youth-led innovation and startups.
