   Worked as a Data Scientist in the Forecasting Engine Utility (FEU) team for the Unilever Greece market, focusing on exploratory data analysis (EDA), data modeling, and all phases of machine learning model development and deployment. Key contributions-• Data Gathering, validation and processing : Collected and processed relevant data for building machine learning models, performed validation checks, and prepared the data for integration into the modelling process.• Exploratory Data Analysis: Conducted a sellin data impact analysis of processed data to develop a Power BI dashboard. This dashboard supports both business stakeholders and the data science team, facilitating the transition to the model-building phase.• Modelling data : Integrated weekly sellin sales data with processed datasets, including pricing, holiday, and weather information, promotion data etc to create the final modelling data.• Nielson sellout data : Processed the Nielsen sellout data to a yearly-week level, integrated it with sell-in data, and performed an impact analysis of sellout on sell-in. Finally, integrated the Nielsen sellout data with the modeling dataset.• Backtesting & Model Selelction : Backtested algorithms such as XGBoost, Random Forest, and Lasso on the modeling data, performed model selection and feature engineering, and evaluated the models for accuracy and bias to ensure they were ready for production deployment.• Deployment : Collaborated with the data engineering team to test and deploy an ML model in production, which runs on a weekly basis and is accessible for business consumption.
