A core member of powertrain manufacturing engineering team. Working for new engine projects, Variant projects, capacity expansion, DML implementation, sustenance and process improvement projects. New Product introduction- 1.Co-ordination with CFT (R&D, Part development team, corporate purchase, Manufacturing & quality) for smooth and timely introduction of new products/variants. 2.Participation in DFMEA & PFMEA. 3.Project time line preparation and adherence throughout project. Proto-build (Beta) of product for trial run. 5.Budget preparation for capital investment & revenue expenses for projects (For facilities required for manufacturing of product). 6.Technical planning, installation & proving of facilities for mass manufacturing of product. Process/Facility Planning - 1.Process planning & execution for new products, variants, DMLs, Sustenance requirements 2.Planning includes- study of product/requirement, PFD & layout preparation, finalization of facilities required, RFQ & Scope of supply preparation (technical data sheet), Quotation from three supplier, technical alignment of all three suppliers, proposal to purchase, PO, DAP, installation & Proving. 3.Technical know-how & expertise in 2 & 4 cylinder engine assemblies, & gear box dressing processes. 4.Machine knowledge of pressing machines, leak testing, ‘J’ hook & palletized engine assembly conveyor, nut runners (Hand held & multi-spindle), On-going quality assurance Camera based inspection) machine, & material handling equipment. 5.Preparation of process documents- PFD, PFMEA, Process Sheet etc. 6.Designing of special tools, fixtures, tackle required for production of product. 7.Logistics planning for smooth production & ramp up. 8.Periodic review of process documents ( PFD, Process sheer & PFMEA)
