In my role as a Clerical Officer, I combine my background in Computer Engineering and Cyber Security with essential administrative responsibilities to support the efficient running of the Patient Booking Hub. My work contributes to both operational effectiveness and digital security within NHS systems.Key responsibilities include: • Managing patient bookings and appointment scheduling using NHS digital systems • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across patient records and internal databases • Supporting secure handling of sensitive patient information in line with GDPR and NHS cybersecurity protocols • Assisting with system troubleshooting and improving digital workflows to streamline administrative processes • Liaising with clinical teams, IT support, and other departments to maintain smooth digital communication and record-keepingThis role allows me to apply my technical background in a healthcare setting, supporting both patients and staff while contributing to the NHS’s ongoing digital transformation.
