About Himani Niroula
Hi, I’m Himani! I’m a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Business. I’m passionate about the intersection of mental health, business, and human connection, whether through research, strategy, or real-world applications. Over the past three years, I’ve researched teen mental health with the Youth Advisory Committee, supported children with disabilities at NSSRA, and explored consumer behavior through a marketing internship at Merge. These experiences have shaped how I think about applying psychological insights to both people and systems.This past summer, I interned at Medline, where I reflected on how business strategy and human-centered thinking can work together to create meaningful impact. The internship strengthened my interest in bridging psychology and business, while also helping me develop new perspectives on collaboration and problem-solving.Outside of my academic and professional work, I love engaging in meaningful conversations, especially about religion, philosophy (synchronicity), and the deeper connections that shape identity. Inspired by a love for culture and community, I founded the Nepali American Youth Association (NAYA) on campus and currently serve as the president.
