Applied Scientist currently working on NLP (including but not limited to LLMs) backed solutions serving sellers at Amazon. Previously worked on personalization, quality assessment, fraud detection and predictive modeling for the Amazon Influencer Program (https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/influencers) and Amazon Associates Program(https://affiliate-program.amazon.com).Before this, I was working for one of the retail direct marketing channels in Amazon as a Tech Lead for a sub-team. Graduated with a Masters in Computer Science at North Carolina State University, specializing in Machine Learning and Data Science. Worked as a Data Science Intern in Tanger Outlets Corporate Headquarters in the Summer of 2016 where I worked with the marketing team for different predictive analytics and fraud detection-related projects. Prior to grad school, I worked for the past 3 years as a research and development engineer in Samsung R&D Institute India, Bangalore. Worked mostly in the Core Engine and Graphics Team for the various Samsung Browsers including but not limited to S-Browser. I took care of the Core Engine developments and maintenance of them (Chromium architecture and Blink Engine) and was involved with projects related to face recognition and fingerprint recognition authentication for the browsers. Finished my undergrad in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Silchar, India (class rank 2). I have worked in ML and Statistical Modeling extensively during my graduate/undergraduate days as well as my professional career till now. I have a couple of internal and external publications and patents as well. I also have a good amount of experience in designing and implementing big data infrastructures, mostly in Hadoop and Spark which compliments all of my Machine Learning work.
