ABOUT HIMAN KHORSHIDI
I am a versatile and highly motivated graduate student in System Engineering with a strong focus on Medical Technology, AI-driven software development, and modern digital health solutions. I am currently developing MedScoutX, a medical decision-support app that integrates artificial intelligence, image analysis, body-region detection, and user-centered digital health features.I have practical clinical experience from internships at Evangelisches Krankenhaus Düsseldorf (Emergency Department, Admission Management, Intensive Care Unit) and Helios Hospital Krefeld (Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, Medical Physics). I also conduct small-scale clinical prototype evaluations with real test subjects, including data collection, medical signal analysis, and assessment of clinical relevance. This strengthens my understanding of evidence-based development, ethics, data protection, and validation in digital health.My development projects include Foxolino (a digital learning platform for children), an ESP32-based reaction-time measurement device for the early detection of neurological or cognitive changes, and various AI-driven tools in health and education. Technically, I work with SQL databases, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, Python, REST APIs, embedded programming (ESP32), and sensor-based measurement systems.Additionally, my background in vehicle technology and electronic control unit diagnostics provides strong skills in electronics, sensor troubleshooting, system analysis, and precise technical problem-solving.My goal is to advance modern, sustainable, and AI-powered healthcare technologies that combine clinical value, ecological responsibility, and technical innovation.
