About Himadri Raha
As a Research Engineer-NPD and an Assistant Manager at Ola Electric, I apply my nanotechnology and materials science expertise and skills to develop innovative and efficient electrochemical energy storage device fabrication process. I work with a team of engineers and scientists to develop dry electrode based Li-ion battery cylindrical cells.I have a PhD in Nanotechnology from IIT Kharagpur, where I conducted research on transforming Li-ion battery electrodes into pseudocapacitive electrodes by structural modifications of V2O5. I published my findings in peer-reviewed journals, IOP Nanotechnology and Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, demonstrating the improved performance and stability of the modified electrodes. I also have a profound operational knowledge of transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), scanning tunneling spectroscopy (STS), and screen printing of microstructures. I customized a semi-automatic screen printer to achieve a high reprinting accuracy of 25 microns. My goal is to contribute to the advancement of nanoelectronics and energy storage technologies, while learning new skills and collaborating with other researchers and industry leaders.
