About Hilton Romanski

Hilton has nearly 30 years of TMT industry and investment experience. He is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Ridgeview Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm focused on quality, middle market businesses. He was a partner at Siris Capital where he co-founded the firm’s west coast office. Hilton served on Siris’ Investment and Operating Committees and was responsible for the successful sale of Pulse Secure to Ivanti in 2020.Prior to Siris, Hilton was Chief Strategy Officer of Cisco. He was a member of the company’s leadership team, reporting to Cisco’s CEO. Hilton drove initiatives that contributed to Cisco doubling its value and increasing recurring revenue by 60%.Over his 18-year tenure, Hilton led over 60 acquisitions valued at $30+ billion, including Airespace, Starent, Sourcefire, Meraki and AppDynamics. Hilton also divested businesses, including including Linksys to Belkin, Synamedia to Permira, and Scientific Atlanta to Technicolor; he subsequently served on Technicolor’s board of directors.Hilton managed Cisco’s profitable $2 billion venture portfolio, which included investments such as Altiostar, VeloCloud, Cohesity, Mist Systems, Mulesoft and Gainsight. He also architected key Cisco global alliances and led the company’s expansion into important global markets.Hilton began his career at J.P. Morgan, where he co-founded the firm’s West Coast telecom investment banking team, based in San Francisco. Prior to that, he served in J.P. Morgan’s Energy M&A / Advisory Group based in New York.Hilton earned his MBA from the Stanford GSB and his BA from Columbia College. He lives in Palo Alto with his wife and two children and enjoys surfing and snowboarding.
